Before I signed up for Carbonite, I was considering three other backup services but none of them had a good story behind their brand. They also didn’t offer unlimited automatic backup. So I decided to go for Carbonite.

I went for Carbonite because of their unlimited backup. The other backup services don’t have that kind of feature. Unlike Carbonite, they charge a monthly fee. That makes the annual fixed rate of Carbonite very reasonable for me.

I am seriously considering backing up online and I don’t want to use a free service. Based on your article, I would have to go with Carbonite. It’s only Carbonite that describes their encryption process. To top it all, their plans are very affordable. I can definitely afford it.

It’s very important to point out that free online backup is not safe at all. There’s a lot of free online backup software out in the market now and it can get pretty tempting to try one out simply because it’s free. However, there is no guarantee of protection. That defeats the whole purpose of backing up files.

My son has a lot of games that he painstakingly downloaded and collected. If his computer crashes, he’s going to be heartbroken. I’m not going to settle for any kind of free backup for his computer. With all the time my son has invested in his games and videos, I would have to go for Carbonite.

I just realized now how crucial it is to choose the right online backup software. if I go with one that doesn’t encrypt my files, every information about myself could easily be stolen. Now, that is really scary.

For me, no computer is safe without Carbonite. It really is more than just the convenience of having automatic online backup. For me, it’s more of file safety because no matter what happens, my files will never disappear. That’s the thing I like most about Carbonite.

I’ve just finished setting up a work station for my eleven year old son. In the process of doing so, I installed Carbonite. I didn’t even think twice about it since I have been using it for years now. Since my son is old enough to have his own desktop, there’s no reason why his work station shouldn’t have it as well. Anyway, he noticed I was installing the software and he curiously asked me what it was. That led to a lengthy conversation on privacy and protection online. Thanks to Carbonite, my son now understands why he should be careful with his files. We had an interesting conversation all because of Carbonite. I just thought of sharing with you that story. After all, kids should really know the importance of protecting their files.
